My favourite adhesives and mediums for collage

What an absolute chore to sit in my studio on a Tuesday morning and talk about my favourite collage techniques, ho-hum I guess I will just have to grin and bear it! No-one in my family is surprised that collage is one of my very favourite things to do, dad used to call me ‘lick and stick’ and I have fond memories of my parents having a new fridge delivered when I was little, and me turning the box into both Knight Rider and then the Tardis using my best felt tipped pens, scissors and a glue stick. Fast forward about 45 years and nothing much has changed although hopefully those skills are a little more refined and while I’m still a sci-fi fan, the subjects are possibly a little more nature based.

I hope that what I share with you today is useful, do let me know what else you would like to see me discuss and keep scrolling for news about new tutorials, there’s a poll over on my social media channels asking what you would like answered in 2025, you can find it HERE in my Facebook group (you may want to join) so do feel free to get involved and have your say, I look forward to reading the suggestions.

After the broadcast has gone live you will be able to watch it back below, leave me a question in the comments either here or on YouTube and I will look forward to you all joining in, in the future, Ali
